We were on the Allgäuer Hauptkomm approach from Hinterstein - the goal was the eastern slopes which already belong to the Lechtal. In summary, there was something of everything from tip top firn east expos until about 10:00 am and even always super set powder on north-facing slopes. Pictures - but also horrible rotten snow below 1600 meters and, depending on the time of day, broken snow. But for such an almost summery temperature and great touring day. Early obligatory - 6:00 am start with bike in Hindelang. Weather change in the afternoon was already recognizable Pictures (c) Martin Hölle Photography
