Snow condition
The first 15 minutes you have to carry, then snow all the way. A little deeper into the valley there is a very thick blanket of snow, hiking signs just peek out. With the predicted fresh snow, the carrying route should also disappear again :-)
Snow quality
Perfect firn, very fast and even :-) We left at 10:35, a little later wouldn't have been wrong - we kept to the more east-facing parts of the slope. After the end of the huge slope out of the valley, hard snow, but hardly any pushing / skating :-)
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Very stable conditions with appropriate timing. Danger of falling in hard snow is currently more of an issue I think.
Overall impression
A picture-perfect spring ski tour :-) Light veil clouds threatened to put a spoke in our wheel, but then quickly disappeared again. I think it was quite local today, in Reutte it was probably rather overcast in the morning. With the forecast of fresh snow, the situation will certainly be completely different again - I'm optimistic and assume that it will get even better ;-) We spotted two Easter bunnies in the forest - if the corresponding picture doesn't go through, you'll have to imagine them...

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
