Snow condition
From 1450m continuously to Falllenbacher Joch 2721m. From there it would have made more sense to walk to the summit. According to other tourers, crampons would have been needed for the summit. We stayed on the pass, which was of course only because we were there for the descent! Anything else would be fake news. You have to watch out for a few sharks in the firn and especially at the bottom.

Snow quality
Where is the PG firn scale when you need it ;-) We decided to give it 5 stars because the 800m slope had firn everywhere when we left at 13:15. Sometimes softer, sometimes harder, but firn. The last 200m were a bit slower, but still ok. Nothing that would take us away from the 5 stars! Crampons mandatory on the ascent, it would probably even be more efficient to walk everything with crampons.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Danger of falling, daily cycle
Overall impression
Glorious day of the Allgäu PG representation sumdeum and schneerudi! This is how spring tours should be. Nothing going on, top firn, sun, no wind. The tour itself is super varied: an exciting approach through tunnels blasted into almost vertical rock, unexpected obstacles (which were later almost eliminated, as they were for us), magnificent slopes, fantastic views and at the end you can wake up the tired carcass with an ice bath in the Lech. The exchange with the other tourers leads to the conclusion that the Wetterspitze was firmly in Allgäu hands today. It was really good!
