Exposition

Snow condition

10 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1400 m)

Good for the time of year. But without an old piste or possibly a forest road, you can't get to the car even on the north side at this altitude. We had an old piste underneath and therefore had no worries :-)

Powder snow
Jelly snow

5-10cm of powder snow on wet snow. Even and quite fast to ride - not super good but not bad at all.

Risks

East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

I think the 3 of the Tyrolean LLBs is justified. From steeper slopes with little snow came slides and also when tracking and skiing we were able to push away the 5-10cm of fresh snow and 5-10cm of wet snow lying on a hard layer.

Overall impression

Equal

Nice little ski tour with some fresh snow and such a good descent that we went up again. A bit wetter on the second descent. It only gets really good again when firn conditions set in.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
