Powder snow

On our descent today, the pimple powder on the east side is still fantastic, thanks to the cold temperatures. The north side is of course also great, but avoid slopes that are more exposed to the sun.

Risks

No warning signs
West North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Watch out for drift snow with increasing wind, otherwise stable snow cover.

Worse

Even on flatter and easily accessible tours, there is still enough space to make your own tracks in fine powder snow. Thanks for the TouringTip go to BK27, I didn't expect the tour to have been torn up yet :-) A pleasant end to a spontaneous ski touring trip to Piedmont. The conditions could deteriorate somewhat now with the increasing wind.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
