Snow condition
You can only ski off-piste in the alpine. Even here, you have to take care about sharks... If you move to the South side of the village you can start with skins from the valley bottom.Until 2400m, where there is snow, it is quite hard and you manage to ski without being to much scared about hitting stones.
Snow quality
In alpine terrain the snowpack is wind affected. In the shaded areas, the snow surface is made up by persistent crystals not too bad for skying. Everywhere else there are wind crusts and slabs. At lower elevations the snow thickness is poor and made by melt-freeze crust: at least here you see if there are sharks...
Risks
Avalanche danger level 2. https://www.livigno.eu/en/avalanche-bulletin Local avalanche bulletinThe snow cover structure is becoming weaker; the old slabs stands on persistent weak layers and can not really consolidate... You need to take care... and hopefully will snow soon, if not it will be quite dangerous...
Overall impression
You can still manage to make some nice turns... the problem is that you have to take care about stones and to have some snow on the end of your line... another option is to start from the alpine, ski down until there is snow and then skin up again... Sure not the best conditions... but at least you can do something...
