Snow report Lötschental, 01/19/2017
Speedriding on Lauchernalp. Happy if you can fly over the stones.

Snow condition
Here, too, there was first a large layer. In the stony terrain, many stones are still sticking out or just barely not. Snow is urgently needed. However, touring and freeriding is possible with caution. Petersgrat is often done.
Snow quality
Very bubbly. If you read the surface well, you will also find good passages.
Risks
Favorable conditions. Still considerable on the north side, but there are practically no north-facing slopes here.
Overall impression
Lauchernalp is a top speedriding and freeride destination with long and steep descents. However, the slopes are mainly south-facing. Video of the fax:https://www.facebook.com/FreerideGuideJungfrauRegion/videos/1222992047737992/

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
