Fresh snow on the Belalp
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
The area at the top is super snow-covered and super skiable. Homogeneous snow cover, few stones, good touring conditions, descent (via Egga to Blatten) into the valley possible, but little snow. Doesn't bother me though, as there is meadow underneath. Will certainly improve after more snowfall this week.
Snow quality
BOOM 30cm of the finest powder - couldn't be better! More please!!!!
Risks
Avalanche level 3: main problem drift and fresh snowDuring the course of the day, the upper section of the ski area was closed for avalanche blasting.
Overall impression
BOMBENTAG!!!!!!!!!- upper section (Hohstock) untracked, as it is still open
