Exposition
Snow condition
Certainly excellent for a south-facing slope at this time of year. Descent to Ferden still possible without combatskiing. You walk 5 m and can even ski as far as Kippel.
Snow quality
Powdery at the top but with a clear wind texture. Below 2500 in the morning, a breakthrough cover that is better avoided. With a bit of timing, however, everything is creamy, a bit sticky but maneuverable from 11 o'clock and you can cruise in every expo. Some dusty turns in shady leeward slopes will make your freeride heart dance.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Above: 2300 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
None, but I did get out of the steeper slopes of the southwest expo in the afternoon. The wagon wheels were getting considerably large.
Overall impression
It will soon be warm. The time windows will probably be even shorter. Today it was still possible to deliver in the morning and from 11 a.m. it was spring cream cheese in all expos. However, it was still possible to ride very long variants in a very relaxed manner.
