Snow condition
A good 20 cm fresh. In the light forest you can ski without touching the enemy, deeper and with denser vegetation still too little. Not everywhere in the forest or on ridges there was still a layer of old snow. But no need to complain, all in all enough snow for tours in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps.
Snow quality
Nice pow, already damp at 1000m, but quickly less damp with altitude. No faceshot quality but fine to ride and hardpack snow usually not noticeable.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
The situation report warns of wind-bound Breztern. Certainly justified, on my low course the steeper summit slope was also unbound. Sliding snow mouth visible at Wächte, see photo... they still exist... Drift snow also visible.
Overall impression
A beautiful morning tour with several ascents. Good snow, moderate visibility, but this way is better than the other way around. Good pow descents at a rather low altitude with sufficient contrast through the trees.
