Snow condition

35 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1100 m)

In the early hours of the morning, there was already 30 cm + of fresh snow at 1100 m. With increasing altitude, the amount of fresh snow grew to 40 cm +. The snowfall continued this morning. Unfortunately, this is the first serious snowfall after the onset of summer at the turn of the year, meaning there is hardly any serious base. Streams and other terrain traps are not really well snowed in.

Powder snow

Cold powder that came without wind. Top!

Risks

Much fresh snow
North-Eas

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

The main danger in the meadow area comes from the terrain traps.

Top touring day, which you didn't have on your radar with the decent dump of fresh snow

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
