Snow condition
Another 20 cm or so fell overnight. Today we were finally able to start tours from the valley this winter. Thanks to the north-facing ascent, it went off without a hitch. All the terrain traps are now well snowed in and you can focus purely on your line.
Snow quality
Perfect powder without the influence of wind. Nice and dusty and fast. There was more than just one face shot today :). If there had been more fresh snow today I would have given it 5 stars.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Relaxed on our playing field today. No significant wind influence and no unsightly catchment area next to the slopes. In terms of altitude, we were a little lower today than the last few days.
Overall impression
Perfect solitary touring day. At last you can avoid the crowded hotspots and do your laps in the best snow in peace. I'm awarding the 5th star today because I didn't expect such perfect conditions here this winter. Unfortunately, the good times are now over again with tomorrow's rain forecast up to high altitudes.
