Altitude

1000 - 1700m

Avalanche warning level

moderate (2)

Exposition

North North-Eas East West North-West

Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne
35 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1100 m)
Blown backs

we are away from the all-time low of snow depths, but still below average. since you could shoot nicely in the altitude band 1400 to 1700, star 2 is due. pines are still far away from being snowed in, especially at altitude (wind). at lower altitudes, half a meter of fresh snow lies directly on the ground, sharky! nothing works in the forest.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

nice soft powder, hardly influenced by wind except for the crests. further up you can ride without handbrake and without contact to the base, but not quite (easy) enough for face shots.

Wind drifted snow

North-Eas East South-East

Intensity: medium

Above: 1500 m

Risks

Cracking (When entering the snow cover)
Much fresh snow
South-West West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

moderate risk below the tree line. the snow cover there made a fairly homogeneous impression. at the very top, near the already collapsed ridge crest, we were able to kick off clods. a loose snow slide (expo W, approx. 1400) further down could not trigger anything. wind only above 1500.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Worse

The upper slope, around 1600-1400, made up for some of the season's busher strains with jumpy powder. the whole group got through the sharky final slope without much damage. A fine day with many possibilities, but only in the thin altitude band 1300-1600

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
