Snow condition
The ski slope in Biberwier is easy to get up and down. Otherwise it would be rather poor. Everything is green in the valley. Poor snow conditions at medium altitudes for the time of year. If you're unlucky, stone contact is possible.
Snow quality
Mangy snow quality. But at least you train your locomotor system. There is no powder snow to be found. Crampons are recommended.
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Some drift snow but only on the surface. 1s in the Mieminger today. Fits with the observations. Very hard and inhomogeneous snow cover. Soft and hard layers alternate.
Overall impression
Lousy snow conditions. You don't miss much at the moment. There are more lines for scrambling and it's cold too. It seems to be an ice winter. We're still waiting for a snow winter...but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the next PowderAlert
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
