In the valley, it's still not enough for a descent. But it gets much better with increasing lake altitude. The critical limit is somewhere between 1300-1400m. After that it increases rapidly. Ridges and crests are heavily blown off. Troughs are now well filled and can be skied.

Cold and light where there was no wind. Everything above the tree line could have already arrived in Tyrol. Wind-pressed snow in many places. If you find the right runs, there's a steady stream of face shots.

Risks

Critical! I wouldn't sign the 2 up to 1800m. Too much wind and too much blowing. In some places, it was also +-35 degrees today. Small parcels could easily be triggered. Overall, due to the poor visibility etc., an assessment is difficult/not possible. If you don't know the area like the back of your hand, stay at home.

It was good, definitely. All the wind and the icy temperatures were a challenge. Ice on my face after a few meters standard. But where it was good, it was an extremely fine day!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
