Always difficult to say in the Montafon. I fluctuate between 2-3 stars. You can't get into the valley for a long time. The valley runs still stretch as white ribbons down to the lower altitudes. But from 12-1600m at the latest, it's all over. Further up, the situation is good at the moment, BUT the many slides and sliding snow mouths restrict the descents to a great extent.
Snow quality
Nothing to do, some cosmetic supplies on top. While there was no real fun on the Hochjoch, friends in other parts of the Montafon had quite a good time today. Seems to have been the time for steep projects again.
Risks
Pretty relaxed. I wasn't too worried, except for the sliding snow gaps.
