I have rarely seen so much snow in the rear Montafon. There is far more than 1m of snow at 1400m. Variants are possible without restrictions, but on some ridges the tops are unfortunately blown off. That is very deceptive.
Snow quality
In the afternoon it rained at 2300m. Unbelievable. The snow coped quite well with the plus degrees, but unfortunately the rain was too much. In the morning it was still really fine. From 1400 then a bit of rain and it was just slush. Too bad. My beep showed +2 degrees. So rain all the way up, I guess that was it for good snow.
Risks
Lots of spontaneous, even larger slides seen. There were also some small slides in the area. With the warmth it became more and more, since some things are already unloaded, you may feel a little safer in the area. Below 2000m there are a few options and some fish mouths have formed during the day.
Overall impression
Had a good day, unfortunately over abruptly at 1330 due to the rain.
Could be that there are still a few options where it hasn't rained. The snow has held up quite well on the north side.
