Above 1800m there is still far too little snow for this time of year. But it's enough to ski and have fun. Below that, skiing off-piste makes no sense. Yes, you can find gullies and blown-in slopes, but on the whole it's still a game of chance who hits the rocks and who doesn't.

On the north-facing slopes we ski on, there is a good 3, but on the other exposures the snow is already heavier and on ridges even extremely hard. There are also quite large ice fields on very windy slopes. In general, you should choose the north.

Risks

Today we had a 2 above 2000m and a 1 below. So we were always quite confident above 2000m and generally we were able to ski the very steep slopes. There was no sluff and certainly no board. We were able to see some very large old avalanche cones, which probably came down in the middle of last week.

An absolute dream day. We were able to ski some of our favorite runs, had extremely good weather and bombastic snow in the north ... What more could you want?
