Snow condition
Above 2000m is enough to ride off the beaten track... but in the meantime I wouldn't do it above 1800m. There is simply not enough snow there. But even above 2000m there can be very little snow in the one or other windy spots, so you can hit the odd rock.
Snow quality
It has to be said that the 3 stars were only awarded because we had fun in all exopositions without any problems. Yes, the snow was heavier and more compact on the southern slope, but it was still unexpectedly fun. Unfortunately, I suspect that the snow quality will deteriorate badly tomorrow. We only had a few crusts which were only to be found on ridges.
Risks
Above 2000m there was a 3 today, below that a 2. Above 2000m, we only avoided the gullies that were completely blown in and steeper than 40 degrees. In general, it seemed safer than a 3, and we couldn't recognize any wet snow slides.
Overall impression
Super weather, good snow and even better lines ... Today was once again unexpectedly brilliant. Tomorrow, however, it could unfortunately let up.
