Exposition
Snow condition
Heavy snowfall on the south side. Very good snow conditions at altitude in the Montafon.
Snow quality
On the north side and where there is no wind influence: there was still nice powder down to lower altitudes today. East-south-west side: crushed harsch, melt crust, at 2,000-2,400 (where there is still snow on the south side) there was nothing load-bearing and no firn Very small-scale differences, everything from powder, slush, hard, crushed snow.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Overall impression
You can still find it purely on the north side and where there was little wind. Everything else can be forgotten at the moment: at high altitudes it's crushed slush and at lower altitudes there's unfortunately no more snow for firn conditions.
