The amount of snow that can be found on the Golm at the moment fits the circumstances. Some of the larger fish mouths can be seen and you have to watch out for them. But otherwise there is plenty on offer from the valley to the top.

The 3 stars are only there because we actually still found great snow from compact to fluffy pow on the north-east slopes. Further up there was a lot of slush in the south or floodlit slopes from midday. Tomorrow there will almost certainly be a nice top. But he who seeks...finds. Some slopes were also quite icy due to the wind.

Risks

There are a lot of ground snow avalanches at the moment from midday (see pictures) and they are mainly to be found on the southern slopes.... You shouldn't get into something like that. We have therefore moved our tour planning to the shade.

Very, very cool spring day which brought us extremely nice weather and actually still very nice snow. But you should leave quite early.
