Bielerhöhe: Okay, but below average. In some places the ridges are blown off and stones come out in some places. Streams are still open in some places, well, you can get on the glaciers. At least that works quite well.
Snow quality
Crusts of all kinds. There is soft snow at very few expos. If you go more into the north cirques, the snow should be even better. Should be safe from the wind.
Risks
No thought wasted on it. It's quite safe. Cold enough again today that it's not soggy. Therefore super safe at altitude.
Overall impression
Very nice day on the mountain. Settled an old score today. Dragged the lazy body onto the snow bell. Tomorrow I'll use my remaining energy to go powder hunting.
