The webcam comparisons with last year clearly show that we are in a good position! At higher altitudes, all descents are possible without any problems. But it's no longer possible down into the valley.
Snow quality
Perfectly light and soft POW in the northern exposure - at least until midday. Then the sun's influence became too strong. The snow was then clearly softened and soaked. Solid and caked on the southern slopes from the morning.
Risks
The snow cover is very well bonded and stable. However, we had sun all day today, which has softened the snow considerably. Some of the snow packs are still old.
Overall impression
Another top day with really good powder runs in the morning. If you want to set first lines you have to go on tour, every step is worth it!
