Thanks to the altitude, you are not quite at the limit here as in many other areas of Vorarlberg. There are still plenty of opportunities to ride off-piste in the Nova.
Snow quality
There is no more powder. There was probably still a bit of powder in the steep north gullies on Saturday, but we weren't there. However, the open terrain offers first-class firn conditions until around 12 o'clock. After that, you notice that the surface soaks quickly and you break through.
Risks
There were a few discharges, but they were all from last week. I haven't seen any sliding snow. Moisture penetration is the biggest issue.
Overall impression
One of the best firn days for a long time. Even though it was quite warm, you could ski first-class firn from the very first run. Can still be recommended.
