Snow condition
Up to 2000m it is actually green. A cosmetic 10cm may have been added below 2000m. We did not find the 20cm from the LLB. You have to reckon with stone contact. Stones and other elements peek through the snow cover
Snow quality
Partly concrete that puts a strain on knees and muscles. At the highest altitudes, however, nice powder for April. It was nice to ski. The lower snow layers are soaked.
Risks
Moisture penetration is the big problem. Above 35 degrees everything slips away. You don't feel completely safe. The snow sticks and slushes up to 2200m. You soon realize that the snow has no connection to the ground. Then caution is the order of the day.
Overall impression
You still take the snow with you. It's always better than sitting at home. But it's not much more than skiing on the slopes.
