Quite nice for the start of the season despite the whiteout

Snow condition
The valley descent still seems a long way off ... Nevertheless, from around 1400m it's quite fun to make your turns. It's much more pleasant off-piste at higher altitudes, as the stones rarely hit the skis ;). Today's and hopefully tomorrow's snowfall suggests better times ahead.
Snow quality
The snow was very mixed ... There were some very nice powder runs in the morning, but these were to be found at higher altitudes (> 1800m). Further down it started to get soggy around midday and generally it rained a little up to 1600m (albeit only briefly). Then the rain turned to snow and the wind + cold made for some very nice snow. Tomorrow will be fine folks!!! (also very cold)
Risks
I could see a few basic avalanche cones before the impending whiteout, but these had certainly already come down a few days ago. During the course of the day and tonight in general, a lot is supposed to come down ... and then unfortunately there is also the very strong wind that we clearly felt the whole time. For this reason, tomorrow could be quite dangerous in terms of transportation ... I know it's early in the season and the one or other slope literally invites you to do so, but ... watch out!!!
Overall impression
The snow became quite pleasant to ride in the afternoon, and there was good snow for the time of year compared to the last few years. But due to the poor visibility, the strong wind and the cold, it was a pure fitness-building day for me. Okay, one or two runs were very tasty ... but there could be more.
