There is enough snow above 1700 m to ski off-piste. Below that, the terrain has to be suitable and then it can work up to about 1000 m in north-facing/shaded terrain. But the material will certainly suffer here. Many streams and uneven terrain are still a problem.

Very well-placed powder that is perfect to ride. There is a fine dusting at every turn. There's really nothing to complain about for this time of year.

Risks

When skiing in terrain below 40°, a lot seems possible if there is enough snow. Extremely steep, shaded terrain should still be assessed critically. For a short time today, snow tracks were visible on the ridges > 2300 m. Some base avalanches from extremely steep terrain are clearly visible.

Overall impression

#Top day: icy cold, glistening snow, 20 cm and more of powder, mostly favorable LWL and unforgettable runs again and again until the lift closes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
