First turns on the slopes - here we go again!

Snow condition
Here we go again! After a long break from skiing, we tend to be too optimistic about the snow conditions out of enthusiasm for skiing. There is a thin layer of snow over 2000, but both meadow and stones are showing through. Those with stone skis can make 2 turns on the slopes that are not yet open. Around midday it started to rain from 1800m and melted more snow. Conclusion: you can ski again, but there's still nothing to do off-piste. Unless you fancy walking down the forest with your skis on your back for about 700m (which a gentleman did today in the lift for everyone's entertainment). Well, you can get carried away with withdrawal.
Snow quality
At 2000m it's actually surprisingly beautiful snow, at least before 10am. Light and soft. But not enough to really be able to ski.
Risks
Sharkland.... just stays on the slopes. Actually times... Out of self-protection...
Overall impression
Finally out on the skis again! After all! We were on the Nova side today, where the slopes were much nicer and grippier than yesterday on the Hochjoch. A good start. Unfortunately, the rain has taken some of the snow away again and we urgently need some more.
