Pistenfahren ist momentan gut möglich. Schöner Herbsttag mit Bluebird, eisigen Pisten und jede Menge Leuten.

Snow condition
Snow can be found from about 2000m. More or less closed from 2200m. Depending on the pain threshold and material wear, something is possible. E.g. well-filled gullies > 2200m. There are already tracks from the Hochjoch down.
Snow quality
Where there is snow off-piste, it is heavily packed powder or concrete, depending on the exposure. On the piste it is artificial snow.
Risks
Widespread certainly very favorable. Above 2200m there is enough snow to be buried. Many old chutes tend to be on the sunny side. Danger of falling and stones should not be underestimated.
Overall impression
Yes, quite ok for skiing. Great runs on the Grasjoch saved the day today. If more people come, it will be tight.
