Stone Contact avoidable

Snow conditions are fine for early December. With a good eye you can avoid fine contact. Not enough in the forest, of course.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Between 2,300 m and 1,800 m (north and east) even better than expected. Heavily settled powder with a light cap, but not much of a problem. Otherwise wet, hard, hard drift snow.

Wind drifted snow

North North-Eas East North-West

Intensity: medium

Above: 1800 m

Risks

North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Relatively relaxed in the area where we were traveling. Drift snow is easy to recognize and outside the old snow problem.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Worse

The beautiful slopes were actually a bit better than expected and the entire tour was all alone, hence 3 stars. Unfortunately, there's no significant supply in sight at the moment, so it's getting worse for now.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
