Technik-Tag auf der menschenleeren Piste bei Traumwetter

Snow condition
A descent is out of the question, but around the middle station at an altitude of 1900 meters you can at least speak of a closed snow cover. If you are a masochist, you might even be able to ski down some shady gullies near the summit, but not without destroying your equipment.
Snow quality
Very hard on the slopes in the morning but, with the right technique and polished edges, good carveable artificial snow. Off-piste in places exposed to the wind, hard as a board, old "powder" in the wind-protected area.
Risks
The close observer will still recognize a few tear-off edges from the last snowfall, especially on the south side in the extremely steep terrain. I would describe the current danger as low, the danger of collisions with bare rock is probably more acute.
Overall impression
During the week, in the mornings, you'll find deserted slopes on which extended carving and technical training is fun. Off-piste, the time for heroics has definitely not yet come - but it will.
