Overall impression
Snow condition
Closed snow cover from 1000m. From 1500 m it starts. From then on, more or less constant up to the very top, and from 2000 m upwards, snow from the last periods of precipitation is still there, but you always have to reckon with ground contact. Piste and meadow are fine, I would leave the rest.
Snow quality
Good snow. About 30-40cm has fallen since Fri. As it's not too cold, the snow is relatively wet. It's mostly too flat where you can ski, and since there were about 1000 tourers in Gargellen, the whole mountain is covered in tracks. A lot of snow has come loose. Skiing is only recommended to a limited extent.
Risks
Beware of stones. That is dangerous. Exciting slopes are not yet possible anyway, and I would stay away from steep north-facing slopes.
Overall impression
A good start and a little exercise. More is not yet possible.
