Still very poor today. Above approx. 2,100 m, the base could continue to form. However, it is not a good base for the fresh snow. Below that, there is no foundation anyway.
Snow quality
Characterized by warmth, wind and fresh snow. Nothing exciting. As already mentioned, a few turns can be made above 2,100 m in areas protected from the wind. There are always brave ones.
Risks
Wind signs can be seen where there is snow. During the day, snow plumes were repeatedly visible above the ridges. Above 2,200 m, the situation can be quite critical.
Overall impression
I'm having fun skiing and can spend the day on the slopes. The next few days will be exciting. How much will come down where? How much wind will there be? Where is the snow line? The local weather service is forecasting high storm potential in parts of Vorarlberg!
