Snow condition
Nothing comes from nothing - the mountains are still grassy and stony due to the lack of snow. However, due to the shady eastern location, the snow has held up better than in other areas and the slopes are well covered - the surface is happy.

Some courageous off-piste tracks have already been laid - but only recommended to a limited extent. The crust softens nicely in the midday sun and makes you feel like spring.
Risks
Too little snow to be dangerous.
Overall impression
The start of the season is still jinxed and the snow is a long time coming. Nevertheless, this is a reason to praise the slopes in Gargellen. They are great for getting into the swing of things, and those who are good at slaloming around the children's race teams can definitely have fun.
