Variations of snow cover

You still have to watch out for stones, especially on ridges, and the north gullies have the most snow, which is also great for skiing. The downhill run on the Nova is possible, but please pack your skates.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

In places we had quite good, albeit well-placed snow. There was a small patch of hardpack in between, but I didn't mark it as it was hardly noticeable when riding.

Risks

Old snow problem
Cracking (When entering the snow cover)
Fresh avalanches
Diurnal warming
South-East South South-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Avalanche activity

South

Wet loose snow avalanche (small)

Altitude: 2300 m

Overall impression

Equal

You have to go up high, then you will certainly still get good snow in the next few days. Of course, everything in the ski area is already shot. But we had really great runs in gullies and open slopes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
