Snow condition
The wind is picking up and the rather thin snow cover is quickly gone, and since yesterday we have noticed that some flanks have been blown out a lot. The west and north-facing slopes are sometimes heavily filled with drift snow and the meadow slopes are still very good for skiing. Sharks are coming through in some places.
Snow quality
The sun has already left its mark in the south. The wind has also already raged, but those who choose their line carefully will still find fine snow. Very good snow can be found in the north in particular.
Risks
The danger is currently very visible. Drift snow is easy to see and I've noticed a few outbreaks. But nothing dramatic and the three can be managed well.
Overall impression
Nice tour. The wind got stronger towards the end. On the second lap up the Antonier Jöchl, the wind was already quite strong. You have to be careful what it looks like tomorrow. At 2000m+ the temperatures were well into the plus range.
With the predicted fresh snow, it will be tricky with the drifting snow.
