Snow condition

Skiing on the road to the valley station no problem, south-facing slopes in the forest partly open. (At the top a good 30cm of fresh snow from the last two days, soft base. Below 2000 little to no base)

Snow quality

Nice powder above 2000 m. A good 30 cm in wind-protected areas. Sun-exposed slopes get a sun crust in the rapidly warming forest, otherwise it was very cold at the top (

Risks

I'm most worried about the sunny slopes, the ones in the forest are slipping almost on the grassy hub even below 30°, sometimes over a medium area. Wind loads are small but tükisch in the cropped terrain, and I've seen a few spontaneous losses in the last few days on the high eastern slopes (no fresh ones).

Powder, sun, few people just friends, full throttle, cliffs, spines, ..... A day you might still be telling your grandchildren about.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
