Less snow in the valley than last year, but totally sufficient. All descents are perfect.
Snow quality
So far quite dry and faceshot-capable. Great pow.
Risks
Slush slide in the steep terrain. Otherwise impressive sliding snow cracks on the few longer steep steps. Conditions currently safe, the abundance of snow and constant temperatures help.
Overall impression
We have now skied 5 days, one of which was in Risutsu, otherwise Niseko. Apart from Risitsu, there was always 10-20cm of fresh snow and therefore old tracks were no longer noticeable. There should be fewer powder hunters here for the 5th star. If an Enforcer 120 should appear in Jackson Hole in March: we sacrificed it to Ullr... please stir, it will be triggered...
