Slowly all the jokes about the valley descent are over, better stay up there... Up to 3er support is ok, pines continue to enjoy the fresh air, but if you force it you will find a way through...Fresh snow was unfortunately not as extensive as the duration of the blasting (~10cm)
Snow quality
It was enough for cruising, sometimes a bit more in a few hollows. Wherever the sun came through, the fresh snow quickly became heavier, but the base is very hard on the south side and especially exhausting in rough terrain!
Risks
The snow wasn't the lightest, but we were only in the area where the classics are ridden, so there was nothing to observe. In terms of the amount, nothing major could have happened in my opinion.
Overall impression
Thanks to the nice company, 90 minutes of waiting went by in a flash, we were up there in no time and were able to ride a few laps.
With a bit of luck, we caught a hole in the sun and had some real fun, but bad weather glasses would have been the wiser choice.
For the next few days, we'll probably have to look for a few gullies on the north side again...
