Snow conditions are still good. Despite a few warmer days, you can still get down to Hungerburg on the 3-person descent without coming into contact with rocks. It's been looking great further up anyway.

No more powder snow on the south side, of course. Due to the clear night, a load-bearing layer of harsch has formed. If you leave at the right time, you can get great firn. You have to be relatively early on the south-east side. On my descent on the south-west side, it was also enough to leave at 12:30 pm with very good firn, and you should definitely have crampons with you.

Risks

Favorable touring conditions according to the LLB. The tour destination was south-west facing and the ascent was on a stable snow surface. Good firn on the descent. With the temperatures, watch out for wet loose snow avalanches during the course of the day. The sliding snow problem still exists. You should not be out too late on the south side.

The Kemacher has long been on the to-do list. However, it requires very safe avalanche conditions, as the summit flank is relatively steep and the run-out area ends in the Höttinger Graben.
The ascent is quite challenging due to the tough conditions and the large avalanche cone. Last section therefore on foot along the ridge.
Really good firn on the descent. Doesn't always have to be fine powder, the slope in these snow conditions was also really fun.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
