Strong foehn wind. Mild temperaturesFotsch/Axamer Lizum

Overall impression
Snow condition
The snow cover is about 30 cm thick. Presumably heavily packed in the upper areas, where there are certainly empty patches. But also places with larger snow cushions.
Snow quality
Due to the full onset of the Föhn wind, mild temperatures can already be measured from the night in the Innsbruck area. The snow is heavy and very wet.
Risks
The avalanche situation with a triple should not be underestimated after yesterday's large avalanche in the Axamer Lizum. Sliding and wet snow avalanches are to be expected in southern and sunny exposures.
Overall impression
Unfortunately, the snow is so heavy that you shouldn't think about a great ski tour at lower altitudes, but the weather with lots of sunshine should make you grin in the mountains!
