Snow condition
At the top of the Seegrube, the snow conditions are no longer bad at all, there is also plenty of snow in the cirque and cable car gully, but further down to Hungerburg it gets less and less, and at the bottom there is actually no more snow. The valley descent is only recommended with stone skis, although you can also save yourself the trouble of skiing the variants at the top and skiing back up again from the 3er Stütze.
Snow quality
As the fresh snow fell in cold temperatures, the snow quality was very good. Many ridges were blown away by the strong winds of the last few days, but the snow in the gullies was very good. There must have been around 30cm yesterday.
Risks
The main danger today was certainly the drift snow, the cirque and cable car gully were blasted and the upper part was mainly on avalanche cones. Diritisimma was pretty much all tracked after a short time, but there were no avalanche cones to be seen, but be careful in the current conditions!
Overall impression
After successfully managing the scramble for the first gondola, there were some pretty awesome runs from the Hafelekarberg station. Great snow, great weather and also a great area in terms of terrain, if only it wasn't always so crowded on powder days and people were a bit more relaxed. Still, a pretty cool morning!
