Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Valley descent still possible. It won't change that quickly. Everything is skiable in the forest. Nothing was seen further up today. At the Seegrube at 15.30 a good 40cm new. At Arzler Alm maybe 30cm, at Hungerburg a good 10cm.
Snow quality
Fluffy at the top, then more difficult at Hungerburg. Nevertheless, faceshots all day long...
Risks
Already tense with the quantities. However, not extremely windy and well protected in the forest area.
Overall impression
If only there wasn't this hard ground. At the top, it didn't matter in the late afternoon anyway, but further down in the forest it was a nuisance. The best descents today were the downhill runs through the new tracks created by the avalanches in January. Still good contours due to the trees at the edge, but all the snow was on the ground and not on the trees.
