Avoid mountain pine fields, which are not covered at all. On ridges there is often only fresh snow on rocks. Gullies and hollows and eastern slopes are well filled. Exposed western sides are heavily blown off. In general, there is significantly less snow in the northwest/west sector than in the other sectors. From 1300m, descents down to the valley can only be made sensibly and gently on forest tracks. So there's not so much, but it's definitely enough for open terrain.

Settled powder in all expos 20cm, partly blown off icy spots (especially west). The snow became heavy relatively quickly in the sun, so tomorrow it's time to seek out the shady sides.

Risks

We deliberately moved below 2200m today, where the snow cover made a stable impression. We were also unable to observe any particular danger signs.

It was a nice day in Seefeld, but we were able to get hold of a few secret lines and escape the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, the snow conditions are not good enough for all routes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
