Snow condition
Snow still reaches down into the valley without any problems. At the top, however, things look comparatively bad when you consider how much snow has fallen. On the south side, from Seegrube to Brandjochspitze, there are mouths and avalanche cones wherever you look. In general, a bit of fresh snow wouldn't go amiss.
Snow quality
3 stars because we found the firn we had hoped for on the south-western descent at around 12 noon. The west side was still a bit hard but grippy at that time. On the south/southeast side, around 10.30 a.m. would have been the optimal time to ski down. After that, it didn't take long for the snow to become wet and gritty in this exposure.
Risks
Some mouths have already discharged, but not all of them. So continue to be careful. Otherwise, not much can happen if you go to the Alm early enough and order your beer;)
Overall impression
Super firn tour with a few difficulties on the ascent (many avalanche cones, gritty snow). South-west exposures are definitely ideal in these temperatures. Nevertheless, you should of course start early!
