Quite ok, even if it should be a bit more. South side up to almost 2000m, north side it goes all the way down.
Snow quality
In principle much better than expected, even if there was little fresh snow (10cm). On pure north-facing slopes, it's completely soft even under the fresh snow, which is very good. In other exposures, however, you constantly encounter various crusts, some of which are load-bearing, some not. This makes for a much rougher ride. In good weather on the south side (if there's enough snow), you're sure to find firn quickly.
Risks
Quite relaxed today, with more fresh snow it would probably have been much more critical...
Overall impression
Surprisingly good, but still not amazing.
