Snow condition
You can ski down to the three-post lift, but you can't actually ski below that without stone skis. There is only 10 cm of fresh snow on the Hungerburg. However, the south-facing slopes in the area of the Dreierstütze were also partially snowed out before the snowfall. This applies above all to steep meadow slopes. Even the mountain pines are no longer really covered. However, there is still enough snow in the Seegrube area to have fun on the open slopes and between the mountain pines with a little caution and knowledge of the area.
Snow quality
In the Seegrube area there was about 30cm of beautiful powder. However, you notice the diffuse radiation which makes the snow a little heavier at this time of year.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Only small loose snow slides of fresh snow on the old snow cover observed. Very little wind.
Overall impression
Nice powder day on the chain. Only one gondola full of people at the top. So you could have fun at the top for a relatively long time. A little more fresh snow and more base would of course be desirable. Spectacular falls and lots of exposed rocks could be observed from the lift. Due to the sometimes very poor visibility and the poor snow conditions, it was only possible to ski defensively.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
