Snow condition
At the valley station at 1200m approx. 15 cm of fresh snow. On the Seefelder Joch at approx. 2000m a good 30-40cm. The snow conditions in Seefeld are very good and even the hut owner raved about the current amounts.
Snow quality
The fresh snow should have fallen in the forest without the influence of wind. Nice cold powder, a pleasure.
Risks
Due to the partially limited visibility, it was difficult to assess the situation outside the tree line. From 1800m it was windy, hollows were blown in by drifting snow.
Overall impression
I went to Seefeld with few expectations and came home with a big grin on my face. Today was the best day yet! Keep up the good work.
