Snow condition
There is no snow on the Nordkette. Not quite true. There is an artificial snow carpet at the Kinderland including a magic carpet. On the Patscherkofel there is an artificial snow slope down to the valley, not wide, but OK. Away from the valley, there are individual patches of snow on the north side for about 2000 m, still long but no continuous snow cover.

No snow = no quality
Risks
No danger of avalanches. Stones and narrow artificial snow slopes with abrupt ends are the danger.
Overall impression
Still a long way from thinking about freeriding. One snowfall will not be enough. The report and the photos serve to convey the situation now and to have a status to be reminded after the first snowfall that there is no base in this region.
