Far below average so far. Now there was new snow from 1000m upwards. At 1000m that's 2cm on the previously green meadow, at 1500m about 10cm on the snow and from 2000m about 20cm on snow, ice, gravel or stones, depending on the conditions.
Snow quality
The new snow was of good quality, but already strangely compacted and partly influenced by the wind. Snow drifts throughout the day. Not very heavy yet, but still clear
Risks
Still little fresh snow growth, but settling noises in many places. Now with more snow, it's quickly becoming quite critical. I hope to be able to drive to the Allgäu and then onto the "safe" green meadows. It's going to be pretty tricky where there's already snow, especially as there's a lot of wind.
Overall impression
Very nice for the feeling, for reasonably sensible off-road riding you first need a meter....
